Belgium driver Ean Eyckmans has made a stunning start to his Australian debut by setting the pace in the TaG 125 class during qualifying at Round Two of the 2024 SP Tools Australian Kart Championship presented by Castrol. It is with great sadness that Karting Australia acknowledges the passing of Victorian karting identity Sylvia Stania. Sylvia passed following a short illness on Wednesday 17 April. Sylvia was a dedicated Official at a Club, State and National level for many years and a long-time Officials Co-ordinator for Victoria.  She was a life Member of the Victorian Karting Association. The 2024 Karting Australia Manual has been updated recently, of particular note is the requirement for a parent/legal guardian when unable to be present at the Circuit with a Minor.
