Hi i have a 2000 cb250 and i want to make an alloy to spoked wheels conversion but i have some doubts. I am kinda new in this and i don't have much knowledge. I don't know if there are a lot of diference in hub mesure between other bikes like a cb450 or a cmx 250. And i don't know what would be better, to buy other bike's wheel or to get a custom spoked wheel Do you have any suggestion ..read more

I am still working on it but the goal is to make a more "cafe racer" style tank. I had improved the look of the standard tank with my glued on rubber checker plate. I wanted to give the tank a longer more old school look while showing the rear cylinder head, have an incorporated air box, hinge up like standard, fit my single throttle plate conversion and custom manifold, and add a fuel sender for the new dash So I when to the bike wrecker and bought a... So I havent really started much yet. I bought the bike many years ago and it sat for more years then I have ridden it unfortunately due to Navy life and deployments. I want to get started. I want to change the tail and seat out(need advice on where to get or have built). I want to change it to wire wheels and different for set up(if its not a ridiculous cost. I want to change exhaust and maybe some engine work and also get the electrical cleaned up and go to a cafe racer style handlebar or... M2 Cyclone build(café racer ..read more

Hello to all! It's being a long time with out a build, but finaly I've managed to buy a bike for cheap and start something. My SV is next but I use on daily basis so It won't chainge anything to her until I have something comfy to ride. I always liked the lines of a muscular and aggressive cafe racer but I'm not sure how to reproduce that on a single cylinder bike. It's my first cafe after all So here is the bike. The guy how sold it to me had a crash and the main damage was at the... XT 500 Cafe Racer ..read more

Well it's been a while. I haven't been properly active here since early 2010, hope not too much has changed. The last few years have been bike free sadly. I've been through university and needed a car to ferry around guitars and amps, so a bike wasn't really an option. Well I've come out with my degree in automotive engineering and bagged a decent job so finally the funds are there to get back on two wheels. I've got my old rf600 which will be stripped of everything that doesn't make it... Col's cx500 cafe ..read more

hey guys, after doing a couple of builds here and there i started to desire something a little more different to what i had done in the past. i wanted to take a bike from one category and bring it to the next so i have my eye out for something in either a cruiser or dirt to make in to a cafe racer. I ended up deciding on going with a dirt bike keen to do a big bore single, having a catalog of parts sitting around the shed i was hoping to use as much on-hand bits as i could. On my usual... xr 600 cafe racer ..read more
