Time again for another document - this time, a look at the concept os species, along with a look at two very interesting scientific papers from the speciation literature. Document in question can be read here:
docs.google.com An Exposition On The Nature of Species
An Exposition On The Nature Of Species In order to deal with a range of canards on this subject, I thought it apposite to gather together, a number of expositions on this subject I have presented over the years, and combine them into one grand...
Once again, enjoy.

The loss of liberty is a far greater evil than the loss of life. The religious speak of the freedom to worship as they wish and care for nothing other than their own selfish ends. Clearly, the faithful are amoral doublethinkers.

So that I have a permanent reference to deploy on forums with severe post length restrictions, I’ve produced a Google Docs version of my long exposition on radionuclide dating, and why it is a rigorous process. Enjoy the document in full from here:

Radionuclide Dating Is Rigorous (2023 Update) Since one of the perennial canards that defenders of valid science have to endure, a canard that is practically a masturbatory obsession with creationists, is the "radionuclide dating is based upon...

Time for another document!
This time, some examples of how evolutionary processes are being applied to a range of real world applications, in order to produce solutions to various problems. I think several of the regulars will regard this one with special relish:
docs.google.com Applications Of Evolution To Real World Problems
Applications Of Evolution To Real World Problems This article is devoted to three interesting scientific papers, all of which contain demonstrations of the application of evolution to solving a range of real world problems. The papers make for...

Psychos were out yesterday preaching and spewing their poison. Beautiful, gorgeous, sunshiny day.
People were out trying to enjoy the weather and live their lives, and these jerks had set up camp
literally, with a large free -standing canopy and some loud- speakers, telling everyone how they need
to kneel and ask for forgiveness as sinners from their savior who died on the cross for their sins, lest
they go straight to hell…blah, blah, blah. Of course, they choose a gorgeous Sat. and a focal point
for people having fun, to explain to everyone how bad things really are, and preach their fear-

Yes, I’ve been busy with Google Docs again. This time, a dismantling of the canards erected by Michael Behe with respect to “irreducible complexity” (including the fact that he didn’t even invent the concept) and the manner in which his attempt to erect the bacterial flagellum as the “poster child” for his bastardised version of “irreducible complexity” fell apart when actual biologists started work on the topic.
Enjoy the full account here:

Again, I’ve been busy. This time, putting together an extended document covering both the Serial Trials Fallacy and the “One True Sequence” fallacy, the latter including the colour coding that I was unable to include in a previous exposition on this subject. The document can be found here:
docs.google.com Two Creationist Fallacies To Be Aware Of
Two Creationist Fallacies To Be Aware Of Regular contributors to rationalist forums, or debates upon various scientific topics, will be aware that a number of duplicitous fallacies are peddled by creationists, in a vain attempt to hand-wave away...

I’m trying to change the email address on this forum, but I can’t figure out how.
In Preferences->Account, my user name and email are listed, but I cannot find any places to click in order to change the email address. Am I looking at the wrong place, or is it in fact impossible to change the email?

Yes, I’ve been busy on Google Docs today.
Although I’ve already posted on this topic in the past, this is the all new 2023 update, and can be read here:
