I have belt drive garage door opener below the bedroom (right under the bed)…and it’s fairly noticeable noise/vibration when garage door opens and closes. Hi. I looked around a bit and saw that people asked questions, so I hope this is okay. I'm moving to be closer to the toddler grand kids. Their riding and other toys are bulky (as opposed to a thin bike, for example) because that's how they come for little kids. I'd like to keep them in the garage, but together in one place, to avoid them migrating all over the garage. I might even put a tarp over them so they don't get dusty. I have painted my garage floor with a Rust-oleum product called Seal Krete Epoxy-Seal. The end result was great. Floor looks beautiful. The problem is that the surface is NOW (versus prior) picking up tracks from tires and even shoe traffic. We live in the Phoenix area which is hot. I believe I have identified the source of the tracking to the sealer that is used on parking lots and the road that runs past the front of the house. I have a garage storage rack similar to the Yukon one from harbor freight. Any ideas on hooks I can attach to hang items from the side or front? Hooks I can stick on to the columns? I was also thinking of getting plastic plugs to cover the holes. Hope this is the place for questions. I am building a detached garage in the coming weeks, wondering what some of you may have used for your walls? The most common in my area are drywall or OSB. Anyone used corregated steel or vinyl siding on the inside? I have heard of this but looking for first hand experience. Also interested in any other ideas.
