There are several factors that make your shave unique to you. Different individuals may have varying experiences with shaving, even when using the same razor. What makes your shave different?
How do you use a razor—are you heavy-handed, light-handed, fast, slow?
How sensitive is your skin?
How tough is your hair?
Do you want a buttery close shave or just enough hair removed to feel satisfied for the day?
Where are you shaving—head, elbows, knees, and toes (knees and toes)?
There are so many more factors, and that's why we're here. We are constantly making new razo ..read more

We’ve recently launched our first NEW color in two years. We call it Fig. One of the most common questions we get from potential customers is if we can make this new finish or that new finish. I get it! New colors are exciting and everyone has their own preferences. I’d like nothing more than to make the perfect fit and finish for every Leaf Shave user, everywhere, throughout all time.
Unfortunately, this is not possible.
You see, the colors on our products aren’t paint. We can’t just mix up one of infinite color options and spray it on. Rather, the finishes on our razors are metallic plating ..read more

Dermaplaning is a technique used to remove a layer of dead cells from your skin. It can be performed at a clinic by a dermatologist or licensed esthetician for a deep exfoliation, or at home for a lighter exfoliation. Dermaplaning has been known to provide many benefits, such as evening skin texture, revealing brighter and smoother skin, and removing unwanted vellus hair (aka peach fuzz).
Similar to dermabrasion, dermaplaning is skin resurfacing. Dermaplaning uses a scalpel or razor blade to remove skin and can be done in clinic or at home, whereas dermabrasion is a surgical procedure.

The first Earth Day ever was marked in the year 1970. The movement started in response to fear around the rapidly developing auto industry and our insatiable appetite for cars spewing out leaded gas. The heavy industry was emitting copious amounts of smoke, resembling a chimney stack in full operation, and even surpassing it by orders of magnitude.
Consciousness around the environment was growing, and our foot being held firmly against the Earth’s throat, galvanizing a community inspired by anti-war protests. Activist organizations began forming and national demonstrations spun up in communiti ..read more

When (other) Adam and I started Leaf Shave, we simply set out to make a better razor. It wasn't about making the most sustainable razor. We weren't trying to make the cheapest razor. And we certainly weren't interested in producing a copycat of something already out there.
No, we wanted to make a truly unique product. Something special that brought a new perspective to the table.
It's special, but is it worth it?
To the question at hand. We need to look at what that uniqueness brings to the table, and to understand its costs relative to other options.
Maybe you use a plastic razor, or perhaps ..read more

Dermaplaning is a non-invasive facial skin procedure that uses a sharp blade for exfoliation, while also removing vellus hairs (aka peach fuzz). Professional dermaplaning is done by estheticians, registered nurses, and dermatologists in an office using a scalpel.
On the other hand, at-home dermaplaning is less expensive, less intense, and growing in popularity. It provides similar benefits while employing tools that anyone can safely use at home. Traditionally, at-home dermaplaning tools are comprised of a steel blade with wire or scalloped guards welded to it, providing a barrier be ..read more
