It’s the second time I’ve encountered Jeremy Adams’ departure from a Flash book, and I must say, DC Comics should reconsider this practice. Adams’ optimistic perspective shines through his characters’ voices, a trait that resonates perfectly with the Flash characters. In my opinion, the Flashes are the most positive and spirited heroes in the DC Universe. Green Lantern War Journal #8 follows the threefold story of John Stewart fighting away a dark horde in the far reaches of nowhere, an alternate universe Kyle Rayner reaching out to Guy Gardner for backup, and the safety of John’s mother being threatened back home. Marvel Comics has revealed that comic legend Chris Claremont will return with a new Wolverine miniseries called Wolverine: Deep Cut.
