Are you looking for a new challenge?
Solent NHS Trust along with partners have been successful in securing HEE funding in training EMDR therapists nationally. We aim to support up to 168 suitably qualified therapists to become trained in EMDR and reach accreditation status over two years of supervision post training. This role is designed to help co-ordinate the enrolment of trainees and lead on their EMDR supervision.
This post will sit with Solent NHS IAPT service Talking Change and part of the role will be support our IAPT clinical delivery.

We congratulate our Patron Sir Terry Waite KCMG CBE who was recently knighted in HM the King’s birthday honours. Speaking to PA News Agency, Sir Terry said: “It really is a big surprise. I had no idea that this was coming up.”
The award recognises his charitable work, including years of work negotiating the release of hostages, and the heavy price he paid through his 1,763 days of captivity in Lebanon.

Europe 2023 conference a huge success – Dublin 2024 awaits

A note from the Editor
I promised in the previous issue to shine the light on intensive EMDR therapy, so I am delighted to be showcasing the preliminary results from an intensive trauma service for serving police officers. Back in the summer of 2022 Rachel Rogers started a new residential service under the auspices of Police Care UK. Having now treated three separate cohorts of police officers she presents the background and early findings which are hugely encouraging.
