I recently picked up a Fender Frontman 25R in like new condition for next to nothing. Everything works perfectly and it sounds great at low volumes (amp on 2 or 3 and guitar volume low to medium). But I have read about these amps having weak, even bad speakers. On mine, it doesn't take much gain before it starts to distort. So yesterday playing with my Tonemaster Deluxe and after 3 hours of playing some weird sound coming out of the amp. It sounds like a morse code sort of, not exactly that but a quick da da da da da da if you know what i mean. So closed the amp for about 10 minutes, went back to it and all is good. I have been told by a very reputable Fender tech here in Ottawa that these amps have a brain of some sort in them and maybe i'm picking up signals form cel phones etc.. It's happened to me before...
