Okay so as people know I have been GASing for a BE100 for the longest time. My goal was to buy one this summer. So along comes an ebay auction with a buy it now of 2K USD for this head. I was going to pass on it as I was not financially ready. But my friend (best man at my wedding) offered to front the cash! I have a base model Ibanez 6-string, which was bought new in 2007, and has been sitting practically unplayed and untouched until now. I broke it out, and installed a Fret Zealot system upon the fretboard. Since the guitar is about sixteen years old, and has never been restrung, will it necessarily need to be restrung at this point?
