I had to change endocrinologists. I have been taking 75mcg for 9 years and keeping TSH between 1 and 2. The new endo would like to see the levothyroxine lowered because of my age (70). I split the 75s and take 37.5 daily, after several weeks I started to feel terrible with all of my old symptoms. I got a new TSH test, it is 5.07 which is the original number that got me diagnosed years ago! The new doctor said that is better (!), but wants it to go higher to 7 (!). She wants me to reduce...
