Meraki Guest WiFi Issues

Hi All, So we use Meraki Infrastructure and a 3rd party for our splash pages (fydelia.com) Over the last month all the guest WiFi has stopped working. Users can connect, but don't get redirected to the external splash URL. They just get No Internet errors. I've spoken to both Meraki and Fydelia and they appear to be blaming each other. Supposedly Meraki have been moving from SHARD to a HAServer environment, which they know has caused issues for some users. Fydelia did add some additional security to their splash pages, but have removed it for testing purposes. Event logs on the Meraki's s ..read more

I'm not sure anyone can help but I thought what the hell. So, for some reason our primary ISE virtual box was turned off for 7-10 days. I only noticed because the backup didn't run. So, our ISE was running on the secondary instance and everything was working fine. Once we powered back on the primary ISE server our wireless network started acting wonky and now no one can connect at all. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks, John ..read more

Cisco Port Channel - identify mac on gig ints

Hi All: A little rusty here. I'm using SSH to help me begin to build a network diagram for our documentation. Prior IT team provided nothing. When I go into one of our Nexus swtiches, I see a couple of port channels and can find the ethernet interfaces assigned and all. Two of the port channels go to our VMWARE hosts / VMNICS. When I search the mac address table for one of the VMNICs, it shows the PORTCHANNEL it's associated with. So my question is more about how I can see which physical port a cable from the VMHOST is actually plugged into to make a wiring map. I'm not surprised that the port ..read more

Hello, I don't have a lot of experience with policy NAT. I am try to configure a (new) LAN IP 10.22.232.x to translate to (old) LAN IP 10.93.27.x so the traffic can traverse the site to site that is configured that allows the 10.93.27.x/24 subnet to talk to the remote subnet. I'm having some issues figuring out how the syntax in the NAT policy should go as well as how the ACLs should be configured. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. ASA is running 9.16 ..read more

Hi All,  Thanks in advanced! I have a cisco switch SG300-28PP which it is advertised by Cisco as a 180W (PoE+ supported) switch. When I connect an AP that requires more then 15.4W the switch ports does not provide more that 13W. When I run the "#show power inline gigabitethernet X" command  it shows "Power limit: 30.0 W" but the "show power inline consumption" shows that the port is only providing Power [W] 13.0. I tried "power inline limit-mode class" and "power inline limit-mode port" and got the same result 13W. I have disable POE on all other ports except the one trying to use fo ..read more

Can anyone please help... I have a failed 9200L-24P that has no ios image on it, and the usual methods to gain access to romon are not working. I've tried pressing and holding, pressing 2-3 times even alt-b in Tera and ctrl-break in PuTTY to no avail I can happily boot the ios from usb, but this doesn't allow write access to the flash. Hi Guys, I've got a new Cisco FirePower 1010 device that I'm trying to get a PPTP VPN to passthrough. I've followed guides and tried various things but still coming up short. Background: Using dynamic PAT as the office has a single fixed IP address PPPOE configured on the outside interface, have tested and this does work. This is our running config, few bits redacted for obvious reasons: Result of the command: "show running-config" : Saved : : Serial Number: REDACTED : Hardware: FPR-1010, 7204 MB RAM, CPU Atom C3000 series 2200 MHz, 1 CPU (4 cores) : ASA Version 9.16(2)3 ! hostname ciscoa ..read more
