The 1967 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350 is a classic, red-blooded, American muscle car. While the Mustang line was only three years old in 1967, this didn’t stop the legendary Carroll Shelby from injecting a healthy dose of his ingenuity into the redesigned 1967 model.
We rarely see genuine Shelby's in person with only 1174 1967 GT350's produced. Thankfully one of our customers allowed us to capture their prized possession.

Richy's 1970 XW Ford Falcon Restoration - Pt 8 Drivetrain
This week we cover the running gear for the XW project; while this car started its life as a boring old “three on the tree” 6 cylinder Falcon, we are building it into a 351 Cleveland C4 automatic with a 9inch diff.
We struck some luck with a package for sale that covered almost everything we need. We picked up a warm 351 Cleveland which was checked over and treated to a full set of engine gaskets. Next was a C4 automatic transmission which was visually checked over and seemingly in good working order. A complete rebuilt ..read more

Welcome to Part 6 of Richy's XW Falcon Restoration
Now that the XW is now in a bare-metal state, we have sealed the car with an epoxy primer. The epoxy is far more durable than the primer used from the factory and has excellent corrosion resistant properties.
Having the car in one colour makes it a lot easier to inspect the damaged areas, rust pinholes, etc. From inspection, we are super happy with the body and have had no big surprises. It's exciting/daunting to know the extent of the repair work required.
After Sand blasting the frame of the LHF door. We found rust in some ..read more

Richy's 1970 XW Ford Falcon Restoration - PT 4
Richy's XW Falcon project is coming along nicely. It's incredible the oddball things you find when stripping a car.
We thought it would be great to share with you some of the little details which we found interesting.
Photos -
Heater delete - This car was a factory heater-less vehicle. Usually, there would be a heater control in the middle of the trim along with a fan speed dial on the right
Original Ford Part - Heater delete plate. You don't see too many of these.

Welcome to Part 2 of Richy's XW Falcon Restoration
The XW Falcon project is progressing considerably. The next step on this restoration is to strip the car down and preparing the body for sandblasting.
While dismantling the XW, we were able to locate visible rusted metal requiring attention. One of the things that Richy liked about the XW was that the major rust was easily visible. The other interesting aspect of this car is that it didn't show rust in some of the more typical problem areas for these cars.
The Bad
We were confident that there weren't any major surprises, but, ther ..read more
