I have an opportunity to buy a used Remingtion 90 T for about $1600. The person selling it gave me a opportunity to try it our for 3 rounds of Trap. I got a 21, 18 and 24 in that order. But the shell failed to eject twice on the first round, 3 times on the second round and 0 on the third round. I had to use my pocket knife to pry out the shell. The seller oiled it between the first and second rounds and suggested that if just took that long for the oil to seep into the right places. My... Remington 90 T question ..read more

What does everyone on here shoot for trap, skeet, sporting clays, etc. Currently, with my budget, I use one gun. This is for both skeet and trap, and I do pretty good in both. Right now, I'm using a Remington 1100 12 gauge, 26" barrels, fixed IC. Ammunition wise, for trap I use Winchester AA Super Sport #8's. I get 1300 fps. Over everything, I like velocity for trap. For skeet, I use Federal Top Gun #8's. I think I get 1145 fps. I always enjoy shooting at these competitions when people come... What does everybody shoot ..read more

I have heard that you are supposed to shoot with both eyes open instead of just your dominant eye. This is harder for me, is it worth it to get good at, or should I just continue with one eyed shooting ..read more

Hello Sportspeople, In a nutshell, what are the differences among Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays shooting. Being new to the shotgun world, I've gone out with buddies and shot at a single clay thrown into the air by hand. I'd like to move toward a bit more sophistication in organized shooting. Also, I'm moving toward buying a Beretta parallel 391 for shooting. I'm open to your ideas on type of gun and differences of the above. Thanks ..read more

Hello everyone, my friend just gave me a Mossberg 20ga with a 26" barrel on it and I want to try trap shooting. It has a combo stock (pistol and butt) on it. Can I take it out there? What will be the disadvantages with it? Its not the tactical stock but a combo and my wife like to shoot it with it, but I have tried to do som research on the net and see only a few people using these. It's a Kicklite Sporter Series. It feels study and great. Please let me know what to do. My wife also wants to... New to trap, need some help ..read more
