Hello all I have a question about a Les Paul jr fretboard. I found a really nice lp jr for sale at a local shop. I love the feel of it, and it sounds great, but my only concern is that it seems like the fretboard shrunk a lil bit up by the neck . It’s not noticeable when playing, only when you run your fingernail between the neck and fretboard. Is this a quality control issue? Hi there. I’m going to be purchasing an SG for a family member and am hoping someone can please offer some help with a question. A 61’ SG has mention of ‘Orange Drop capacitors and audio taper pots’. Are these components known to hold up well or go bad? Expensive to repair? They aren’t listed on the mother models we’re looking at. Sorry for my if ignorance. I purchased my dream guitar that I have been saving and waiting for and got this. The issue I have with it there two some dings on the body but there is considerable crease on the lower horn. You can’t see it at a distance but you can feel the difference by touch. I am thinking of returning back to the dealer which after few email exchanges, I can send it back and swap it. They did a stock check of similar guitars with photos and it looks like a similar problem elsewhere on the top. Hey, anyone here got experience with inlays sticking out or becoming loose? I can press it back down but it won't stay in for long. Don't really notice it when I'm playing but i want to get it fixed. Someone told me it was an easy fix, just get it out and glue it back. Rest of the guitar is fine so I'm hoping its not from humidity and it has mostly stayed in the case.
