Ok, so I just realized that Alaska has removed the FO position from its careers website. I know that the regionals have slowed down hiring, but I wasn't expecting the slow down in hiring to hit the majors so early. So, I have an ATP and can't get a first class medical. I have no part 121 time, but years of teaching in GA sims for IFR and ground school, etc, on the side from job as accountant. Anyone know how much a Ground instructor job pays at a 121 carrier, assuming I might get hired? Note - I can't get a sim instructor job, w/o 121 flight time.
