2013 Sundance with Atwood hot water heater. Have water pouring out of plastic drain plug. Second time this year. First time I changed the plug and no problem for 2 weeks. Woke up this morning and thought I heard a fan running.went outside and again water blasting through the drain plug, probably blew out 200 gallons of water overnight. Is this a failed pressure relief valve or something else? Any help appreciated. Thx ..read more

Seems that my Atwood wh-6gea works fine on gas, however not on electric.
And to be honest, I not sure that it ever did. I just ASSUMED that it did.
It is plugged in. The fuse above the burner appears to not have blown.
I even changed the element, just in case.
Is there a fuse or circuit breaker that I'm missing here?
Thanks in advance ..read more

I have a 2021 Heartland Fuel 362. My hot water tank is not working when trying to use propane. All other gas appliances work. When turned on the unit clicks, flame comes on for a few seconds then shuts off. I put new thermal fuse in, but it didn't help.
Any suggestions?

So the water heater door blew off, I need to replace the door and frame.
My questions are about the frame installation.
I have seen a few videos and some put butyl tape on the frame where it goes against the outside of the body.
And some don't.
If you did use butyl tape what size was it?

Hi. We recently purchased a used 2008 Cyclone. There is a large red switch, like a light switch, on the control panel. The service guy at Wade's, where we bought the Cyclone, couldn't tell us what it is for. Anyone know ..read more

I have a 2022 Prowler 303BH that I bought brand new in May of 2022. Every year we have had it properly winterized and de-winterized. Our 1st 2 years that water heater worked great. I have a 4 year old who likes to take a bath and we have never had any issues with running out of hot water. In fact in previous years I could take a shower, the wife could take a shower, and then my son could take a bath and we would never run out of hot water. For some reason this year we run out of hot water...

Just got our RV out of storage, it was winterized at a local shop last November. Hooked up water hose to city water connection. Opened the bypass valves for the water heater, screwed the water heater drain plug back in. Turned water on and the electric water heater switch. Water came out of hot water side of bathroom faucet but it wasn’t hot. What am I missing ..read more

My 12 gal suburban water tank has been weeping water from the pressure / temperature valve. I replaced it with a new valve and filled the tank. As soon as it reaches full temperature, it begins to weep. What am I doing wrong? It’s driving me crazy. Thanks in advance ..read more

Hello! My wife and I recently purchase a new Heartland Sundance 255BH and I can't seem to locate the hot water bypass anywhere.
It's not accessible via the front storage compartment and it's not on the backside of the hot water heater itself. Owner manual isn't much help either, unfortunately. I removed the access panel below the oven and it appears to be part of the HVAC system, so I don't think that's it either.
Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you!
