I've started ordering bits for my first custom loop build, I'm upgrading from a 360mm AIO that can handle my CPU stock, but not once I start increasing clocks. I've got the block, pump, res, tubing and some fittings sorted, but I'm looking at option for the radiators. I've got a 7000D airflow case, so I have space for 2 420mm rads and a 480mm rad. Currently I have the AIO on the top exhausting, and then 3x140mm fans on the front and 4x120mm fans on the side for intake. I am a uni student and it is not possible for me to take my pc back home. For reference, I have a custom water cooled loop in my pc. I plan on getting a self storage unit near the campus to store some of the stuff that I do not intend to take home with me for over the summer, so about 4 months until I am back. If I were to leave the liquid in the loop and leave the GPU and RAM slotted in and fill the empty spaces in the PC with foam should it be fine? Hi, I'm building a custom watercooled scrapyard PC for a video, and I've got all my parts for the build. The only problem is that my (cheap) CPU Block from Amazon is too small for my motherboard: The motherboard CPU cooler mounting screws are 7.5cm apart and the CPU block can do 6cm max. See the images I attached.   I can't really buy a new CPU block, and I have very limited recources where I live. I can order stuff online but that can take a while to arrive. Hi there, so I have no hobbies and I decided to polish my Pump   My hope is that it will have less vibrations and because of the smoother surface, it will also have resistance therefore the pump will need less for the same RPM. Also there were some production defects aka plastic lefovers on the sides as the plastic is cast into the Metal ball.   It feels really smooth with a micro fiber cloth and finger.   What are your thoughts ..read more
