Water Loop Temps

Reconfigured my loop setup and added a temp probe to the reservoir. Loop temps run about 20C at idle and after 60 mins of R23 max temp is 26C water temp I am running a 480mm x 60mm rad with 18 fpi in push/pull configuration with a Ryzen 9 7900x. Fans are set up on a fan curve based off the temp probe. Min fan speed is 20% @20C and ramps up to 60% @ 50C, fans don't go much over 35 to 40% after 60 mins of 100% load. CPU clocks stay steady at 5.4 all cores. Thinking of adding a 6950XT to the... Read more ..read more

I am upgrading my watercooling and adding a second radiator so I will have a 480 and a 360. What are good fans to use? Currently have Noctua NF-F12s so they are old and I want to replace them. Noise is somewhat of a factor as is cost. How are Arctic P12 compared to what I have now ..read more

External twin MO-RA 360 planning and setup

For some time, I've been eyeballing the Aquacomputer Gigant. Not to go passive per se, but with the general intent to shrink my case, which is currently what's in my sig. Of course, I'd go with the big boy, which is a pretty chunky proposition. I'd completely forgotten, however, that I have a second MO-RA 360 that's never been out of its box. It's performed well, but I think I can do better. Currently, the setup is giving me an 18°C water/ambient Δ with fans at 50% with near... Read more ..read more

TRX50 blocks

I assume no, but has anyone heard anything about possible VRM blocks and the like for the new crop of TRX50 or WRX90 boards? EKWB has nothing planned. As some know, the Asrock and Asus boards have active cooling; I picked up the former. While you can get it quiet, and it’s suggested it should perform well/quietly even with the fans set to their lowest setting, I don’t think that’s sustainable. It would be ideal to get a proper block on them but due to the design, it’s not so straight... Read more ..read more

Considering soft tubing

Currently I have a Lian Li O11D XL case, with the GPU vertical mounted, everything plumbed with 14/10 arcylic tube. Nothing necessarily wrong with the loop or the case, I am playing with ideas to gain some desk space back. I am considering moving everything to a Thermaltake Core X71, to put on a raised platform next to my desk, maybe do a dual loop while I "reinvent the wheel" with my setup. If do end up moving to the Thermaltake case, aesthetics would not be a big concern for me anymore... Read more ..read more
