So I made this lil dude and I want him to live in a jar with water in it. I like how it bobbles around when you pick it up so probs not resin. But I don’t know how it will last. Will the paint peel? I sealed it with a spray idk if that’s enough. Should I seal the sculpture in resin first? Thoughts ideas? Anyone?

how did you know you were ready to start selling? i’d like to open a shop for the stuff i make but not sure how to gauge when a good time to start would be
i know getting a following that enjoys what you make is a big help to selling, i plan on getting a phone mount to record the processes so i can post more to socials and gain that following

Made these for my husband’s boss’s wife, who loves handmade jewelry. He said she loved “springtime”, so that’s the theme I went with. Let me know what you think! They’re not perfect, but I’m in love with them.

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to look for polymer clay. I am making figurines. Can you please suggest a nice polymer clay brand that I can use? It would be nice if it was also at a cheaper price. Thank you so much ☺️

I'm returning to my first custom Funko Pop and I really want to clean up the smile. I'm pretty happy with the rest of the Pop outside of smoothing it out, so I'm hoping that there's some way to fix the smile without changing the rest of the Pop.
Any tips? I'm still very much a beginner so no advice is too obvious or too simple. The inspiration (2nd photo) is comic artist Scootie Youngs Bullseye.

I want to start out making figurines in clay as a total novice
For clay I am in an OK spot (I just need to choose between sculpey super or FIMO soft, I think I will start out with FIMO because while being more expensive it contain less material so it will be cheaper if I give up )
But for tools, what should I buy?
My plan is starting with simple and small Pokemon / digimon, what are the must have tools for it?
On aliexpress it's full of EXTREMELY cheap tools kit with a lot of different tools in it, are those ok? Or should I stick to fewer but higher quality tools?
Thanks to all!
