The all-new 2023 GMC Canyon MPG numbers have been revealed and they are really way worse than the prior generation Canyon.
For the 2023 GMC Canyon, it has been fully redone and includes a new exterior, interior and a 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to a second-generation 8-speed automatic transmission (the first-gen is currently embroiled in a class-action lawsuit).
Let’s recap what’s new.
2023 GMC Canyon key changes
The 2023 GMC Canyon will come in the four trims (Elevation, AT4, AT4X, Denali), crew cab and short bed only configuration.

With Ford Motor Co.’s announcement that its next-gen electric truck will be built at BlueOval City, the company’s new mega-campus in West Tennessee, we have a whole lot of questions. Namely, what in the heck is Ford’s Project T3, and when can we expect to see it?
While Ford’s press release offered appropriately vague information about the new truck, it did offer a few nuggets worth mentioning.
What does Ford’s Project T3 stand for?
This is an easy one. Project T3 stands for “Trust The Truck,” which is a code name that stuck after the development team made it their rally cry. On a deeper level ..read more

The all-new 2023 Chevy Colorado MPG numbers have been revealed with worse fuel economy than the prior generation. Yes, really.
With its new 2.7-liter turbocharged engine mated to a second-generation 8-speed transmission, the newer version of the one which was just granted class-action status for shifting concerns, this new Colorado midsize truck was expected to at least mirror the fuel economy for the prior gen 3.6-liter V6 engine. And, well it doesn’t, nor does it come close to the excellent fuel economy numbers from the prior generation 2.8-liter Duramax diesel.

We have new spy photos of the 2024 Ford F-150 interior, and it shows some of the old with some new features.
This year, the 2024 Ford F-150 is expected to make its debut, and while it is likely just a refresh, there will certainly be some changes to get truck buyer’s attention. For example, we expect a new front and rear-end design, new taillights and interior changes.

The 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV is one of those in-your-face vehicles. From its large footprint to its boxy-and-unusual design, it immediately draws your attention. It’s a pricey statement piece that shows EVs don’t have to look like an egg.
It’s sure to be polarizing as people talk about its gargantuan size, though it’s shorter than its pickup truck sibling, and even bigger price tag.
But for those who are lucky to own one, the 2024 Hummer EV SUV proves to be a comfortable cruiser that drives smaller than it is.

The 2023 Hornet is the first all-new vehicle from Dodge in about 10 years — remember the Avenger? Yeah, that’s the last one. Other than that, Dodge had poured its soul into Hemifying the Durango, Charger and Challenger – all of which have an imminent end day in their current iterations.
My point: The 2023 Hornet is a big deal.
In addition to being new, it is a bridge vehicle as Dodge begins to transition into electrification.
The Dodgeness of the 2023 Hornet
Let’s get this elephant out of the way: Yes, the 2023 Dodge Hornet is built on the same platform as the Alfa Romeo Tonale. Yes, it is al ..read more

The GM 8-speed transmission saga took another turn with a judge granting class-action status for lawsuits affecting 800,000 Chevy, GMC trucks and SUVs.
This news, as first reported by the Detroit Free Press, is another step in the legal process on this ongoing issue.
GM 8-Speed Transmission shudder, jerking sensation
We have covered the myriad of issues with the GM 8-Speed transmission for many years now and while there have been some bright spots, like GM replacing select transmissions, many owners simply have dealt with trucks they describe as “unsafe to drive.”

Let’s be clear, when Genesis says “electrified,” it means electric. And, the 2023 Electrified GV70 is the second all-electric SUV from the brand. Unlike the GV60, which is EV only, but similar to the Electrified G80, it’s built on the gas counterpart’s platform.
Which is a pretty neat trick – especially since it takes a lot of planning and forethought to accomplish it.
During my brief first look at the 2023 Electrified GV70, I was hard pressed to find things I didn’t like because this is a great SUV. And while I did find a few things that could be improved, overall, I like most things about i ..read more
