Can you apply Windows XP or previous version to a bootable USB Flash Drive? I was given a Dell Optiplex GX 270 and cannot get it to show a picture at all on either monitor I have or a small 15" TV with VGA. Hello, I have two HDDs in my computer, old Seagate with bad sectors and new Toshiba. Each disk contains Windows XP operating system. When I remove the Seagate hardware, my computer cannot boot into Windows on the Toshiba HDD. I tried the fixboot c: and fixmbr commands from the Windows CD, but it didn't solve the problem.
