Last May, we left for our first real vacation since before covid.  Our first night, I received an urgent message.  After 13 years together, a brain tumor took my girl. It stands as my saddest day. This was my greatest fear...losing her when I was away. Part of me is still broken. Fast forward to Feb 2024. Our 12 yr old boy suddenly lost weight. I lost my beautiful tuxedo cat Teddy 6 days ago, he passed away at 02.00 he was laying on the bed beside me. He let out a heavy sigh and he was gone. Teddy was 13 years old and he had been with me for the last 6 years of his life, he was abandoned by my previous neighbors who moved away and left him behind. I got my sweet baby boy 10y ago. They said he was around 2 at the shelter. He was diagnosed with Cancer last year. An aggressive tumor that had metastasized to his lymph nodes. We did two surgeries and chemotherapy. He had other issues not as major - parathyroid issue we also did surgery on to correct excess calcium. His kidneys were slightly degenerated. I lost my sweet girl two weeks ago. I was lucky in ways that so many other pet owners are not, I had time to prepare and I was with her in the end. Last March when my dog, Frankie was 13, she started having mobility issues and began showing symptoms of dementia. I didn't even know dogs could have dementia until her vet told me Frankie had it. I'm seriously considering ending my life because I killed my cat. I can't even say it's an accident, even though I have no intention of hurting her, it was very much avoidable if I could've controlled my selfish behavior. Pipi was my first and only cat. On Wednesday morning this week we said our final goodbyes to my cat, Lloyd Christmas. He was 18 years old and my best buddy in the world. I was his fur mama and he was my baby.  I cared for him from a kitten right up to his elderly last days. I saw and loved him at every stage of his life. He was my most loyal companion through 18 years of my life. From 22 years old to 40 (I just turned 40 in February).
