Once reserved for the clairvoyant’s lair, the Akashic records are enjoying mainstream appeal. But what exactly is this enigmatic realm and what insights can it offer in the modern world? Whether you lean towards the mystic world of astrology and tarot cards or consider it too woo-woo, divination has certainly gone mainstream. Given the tumultuous landscape we find ourselves in, this is hardly surprising. Adapting to droughts
WellBeing Magazine
by Jamie Pilarinos

I grew up in the era of flexible hoses and sprinklers attached to taps of endless water, but this won’t be the world my grandkids inherit. Our earth now faces wild and unpredictable weather, including many droughts. Humans tend to adapt well, though. As well as being delicious, indulging in a tasty dessert should be a conscious choice for your we ..read more

WellBeing Magazine
by Emma Nuttall

In a world of unrelenting beauty standards, is it possible to love your body? Emma Nuttall reflects on an alternative route to self-acceptance — body neutrality. In the mosaic of self-worth, societal expectations thread a complex narrative around body image. For the better part of my teens and early adulthood, I carried internalised beliefs that tethered my value to the size and shape of my body. This struggle is not singularly mine, it resonates with countless women who navigate a world where subtle and overt messages dictate an idealised physique often incongruent with reality. According to ..read more

Illuminate inner beauty

What does your night-time routine look like? Do you have a 10-step beauty regime or just splash water onto your face and tumble into bed? Depending on the day, WellBeing’s editor Kate often falls into the later, but she has recently stepped up her beauty game with Bon Charge’s Red Light Face Mask, the Classic Blackout Sleep Mask and the Full Spectrum Lamp. Sometimes it feels like every single moment of my time is spoken for. If I’m not playing with my three-year old son, I’m editing two magazines, writing content, trying to move my body, feed myself and my family, walk the dog, stretch, medita ..read more
