She also mentioned one moment: when doing ATM withdrawal, ATMs might offer the DCC dialog - either ATM owner bank does the currency conversion or let the card issuing bank, in this case Schwab to do currency converstion. She said that I must choost to have currency conversion with the card issuing back (as we all know to avoid DCC). Apparently they pull the Small Business Financial Exchange (SBFE) report and mine shows a single late payment from July 2022 on my business credit report. It was a day late, but interestingly enough it shows up as a 30 day late for $83. As a result, I cannot get approved for BOA Biz Cards. Has anyone had any luck disputing something like this? The process seems very convoluted in that they pull from DnB, Experian Business, Equifax Business, and Lexis Nexis. I've been noticing more and more of my charges have been posting in "digital" categories and haven't been able to find any cards with multipliers on those categories. Any experiences with multipliers for these? We have just gotten a big assessment for the roofing project at our HOA. Combined with our HOA dues, the monthly charge will be $1400 for the next 32 months. Currently pay using Chase Bill pay and the bank makes an electronic funds transfer with no fee. Our management company is just now offering the ability to pay by credit card via their unique website set up by cincwebaxis.com that does this for HOAs. But the monthly fee would be $45.50 which is 3.25%. Seems like the 3.25% fee would negate most of the points earning value. We only fly 2x/year and do redeem for J. Looks like it is less of a break financially to merchants (7 bps interchange cut eventually, with a 5 year cap on fees) but it allows surcharging and also surcharging by card type and allows merchants to pick which cards they will accept. Might severely curtail the points/miles game as playing becomes more expensive.
