I'm new to comic collecting and purchased a 9.8 on eBay. When I got it though there were a few problems. It looks like the pages are lower than the cover as you can see some empty space when looking down at the top. The top cover and pages aren't totally aligned, as they're in a staircase like position. Though, that could be because the comic is partially stuck to the front of the casing somehow and is kind of in a U shape. And, around the staples have tears or something? Fluff? Hello guys, I am wondering is it possible to search graded Comics on CGC just by their name? I can find the spot where you can put the Verification Number but I can't find any spot where to put the Name in. I am looking for the list of graded "DC vs Marvel" or "Marvel vs DC" comics - can anybody provide me with a link or tell me where you can search by name (if possible)? Edit: I was able to find "DC vs Marvel" Issue #1 by exactly typing in "DC vs Marvel #1" but it doesnt work for the other 3 Issues. Hi! I’m just wondering if the grade of a signed book really matters in terms of value? Patrick Stewart is doing a signing with Everest Autographs. (The guy who runs it used to work for Officalpix.) Long story short I found some signed books with the entire cast on galaxy on. The high grade ones are for way more than I’m willing to spend $3000 for a 9.1. They do have a 4.0 comic book with 8 of the 9 for much less that I’m considering. Again I’m just wondering how much of the grade really matters when it’s the signatures that bring it real value. I'm getting along in years and am starting to sell off my personal collection, while I can still use the money.  Mostly high-grade books 1970-1990, Marvel. The books fall into three categories 1.  Utter junk (e.g. New Universe) 2.  High-value books (e.g. ASM 129, GSXM 1) 3.  The rest. Currently, I'm submitting anything that GoCollect has at $100 or more in a grade 2 below what I think I have.  But I wonder about some books that are worth a bit at the 9.8 I hope to get, but maybe only $50 at 9.2, which is always possible.  Does it make more sense just to sell them ..read more
