Was finally able to get my new to me Ithaca 30 06 on the rifle range . Very happy with its accuracy . Great when a rifle lives up to the hype . Trigger pull is a whopping 4.5 pounds but because it breaks so clean it wasn't that big a nuisance , plan on adjusting it here soon ..read more

Hi, I'm Pat and I live in northeast Ohio. I enjoy hunting, skeet shooting and travel. As I'm nearing retirement, I've started selling parts of my firearm collection. Between local gun shows and consignments, most things have sold quickly. But I put a Sako Finnbear Deluxe 270W (with Leupold scope) on consignment here in January and it hasn't sold. Ohio is a straight-wall-cartridge-only hunting state. Am I just in the wrong market? Would I do better online? If you can advise, please reply ..read more

I have been a niche collector staying with CZ/BRNOs and S&Ws, so I know very little about Sakos or this gun, beyond "Finland and Riihimaki". I think I may have had one other Sako many many years ago, a quirky 308, I want to say model 55?? It was kind of clunky, not like this. I have had this for 10 years +/-, never shot it, got it for $1400ish if memory serves at a pawn shop in Asheville , NC. It is so beautiful. It seemed like a good price compared to similar BRNOs, which in pristine... Read more ..read more

My name is Bo, I recently came into a few sako/Tikka and other vintage rifles, one of which I am struggling to find alot of info on. It's from what I have found, a sako L46 pre vixen manlicher stock in .222 remington in absolutely incredible condition. I'm wondering what you gents can tell me about it? History wise and of course, possibly value? I can't find any comps for it. I also can't find any information on it in general. I know its got some funky looking knurled proprietary rail on...
