Gas prices spike in Kentucky

The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in the Lake Cumberland area rose around 20 cents in the beginning of the week. On Monday the price for a gallon of regular gas was $3.29, then on Tuesday Morning the price for a gallon of rose to around $3.59 locally in Monticello. In the area in Somerset rose to around $3.59, Gas in Whitley City is still around $3.30, Albany is reporting around $3.39 GasBuddy pointed to three main factors that contributed to the rise. London Police Department to host fishing tournament for fallen officer

(WYMT) – For the second time since Officer Logan Medlock’s death, the London Police Department will host its annual memorial fishing tournament on May 4. Officer Medlock was hit and killed by a drunk driver back in October of 2022, and colleagues feel this is a great way to honor Officer Medlock’s memory. ”He was a very Godly man. Pulaski County man facing several charges after domestic altercation

(WKYT) – A Pulaski County man is facing several charges for what the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office called a domestic altercation. The Sheriff’s Office says deputies received a report of a domestic altercation on Dustin Lane in Eubank on April 21. They say the caller stated her ex-boyfriend, 23-year-old Thomas Stogsdill, assaulted her, put a gun to her head, and wouldn’t let her leave. The victim said she was able to eventually get away before she called 911.
