Koi Houston opened a few months ago, and trust us sushi lovers, you’ll want to add this spot to your must-visit list! Not only is their fish incredibly fresh and high-quality, but the restaurant itself is immaculate. It’s minimalistic and modern, yet approachable and inviting.
Koi offers a no frills, traditional approach to Japanese cuisine. Their fish is imported straight from Japan, and we were absolutely blown away by everything we tried, especially their handrolls! Each handroll is served in a special nori wrap that you remove as you go to ensure that the nori is fresh and crisp when you ..read more

Simone on Sunset is still one of our favorite cozy neighborhood spots for wine, cocktails, and food. Now that the weather is cooling down here in Houston, you can enjoy your time at Simone on Sunset out on their charming patio complete with greenery and gorgeous fairy lights!
Simone on Sunset recently revamped their cocktail menu too! We enjoyed the Salted Strawberry Mule, Passion Fruit Colada, Pepino Diablo!
And of course we need to spotlight their light bites to go along with your drinks! Their chicken lollipops are the best.
Some pro-tips:

Mad Dogs is slinging loaded gourmet hot dogs that you're going to want to get your hands on ASAP!
Mad Dogs started as a pop-up and recently opened a food truck in Sugar Land with another location in Memorial on the way (follow their page for updates). The menu offers a handful of creative, flavorful, and halal options for hot dogs and fries. The Mad Dog and Elote Dog were our favorites, but you also have to grab their elotes and lotus mousse dessert.
P.S. They also offer a monthly special hot dog, which is currently the Pizza Dog!

Un Caffè Roastery opened up recently in Midtown, and they’re serving up some quality unique brews! Not to mention, it’s a great spot to work or meet up with a friend over some coffee.
We loved how creamy the Iced Einspanner was and enjoyed the refreshing Citrus Iced Americano (topped with the cute coffee bear)! Both are musts here.
