If you have been scared off from finasteride from all the negative voices online, then there might be yet another reason to reconsider.
This video that just came out is perfectly in line with what my own Scandinavian doctor told me, and which I have previously shared in here.

I am 28 years old from India and I have been wanting to go for a Fue hair transplant to lower my hairline and fill both sides. I have shown some clinics here and they are saying approx 2000 grafts would be required for a dense hairline
can you guys please suggest me if 2k grafts would ideally be required or are they overestimating ? I was thinking more like 1200-1400 ..read more

I am 44 years old and I live in the US but I am originally from Turkey. I started losing hair during my mid 20's and hair loss is pretty common among my family. Recently, I started to think whether HT would be an option for me, but I am concerned about the outcomes. There are clinics out there who are doing unethical business and giving false promises just to grab your money. I am not concerned about the cost but I would not want go through all the pain and hassle, if there won't be any significant difference. My expectation from HT would be to have density over my top and crown area. I h ..read more

Hi all. This question its to a friend of mine. I didnt talked yet with him. But he is losing also hair. I remember as a kid him saying to me that he have " arrythmia ". I dont know if with time arrythmia can dissapear or if its a chronic thing, and i dont know if he still have it as and adult... I will not talk about OM to him, for his case of course. But on his case, can he use Topical Minoxidil, or better to him ( In case he decide to take medication ) to use only Finasteride ..read more

I find it painful watching these videos, but would be interested to hear others take on this.
For me;
1) The difference in hair colour between the before and afters indicates that the lighting conditions are either different, or have been altered through photo editing.
2) The head angles are significantly different in the comparison photos. From the rear, the before picture is tilted further backwards, exposing more of the top of the crown/vertex - and similarly, from the front, the before picture is tilted further forwards, again, exposing more of the top of the crown/vertex areas ..read more

Hi,
I am new here so if this is not the proper place for this topic please let me know.
I am looking for help with my strip scar. I have a large scar that runs from ear to ear. I have already had SMP and it is one of the best things that I have ever done. It has honestly changed my life. However, I am still bothered by my strip scar. My friends and family tell me that it isn't noticeable especially since my SMP. However, I notice it because it's my head. I am wondering if there are any procedures that can be done to eliminate the scar altogether or at least to make it thinner. If anyone ..read more

I've been on oral Finasteride and topical Minoxidil for roughly 7-8 years. It maintained for a while but stopped working. I switched to oral Minoxidil (5mg/day) and oral Dutasteride (.5mg/day) 9 months ago and my hair loss continues to get worse. Its absolutely doing nothing for me (positive or negative). My hair continues to become thinner and weaker. Most people state that oral should always work better than topical but I'm wondering if there have been situations (stomach issues) where topical may work better. I'm also considering Pyrilutamide or RU58 ..read more
