Hello All, I have a 2013 Commander XT800 that is occasionally and getting more frequent will grind when when accelerating after it has appeared to go into proper gear. I have had the linkage tested and verified to be correct. Again it's not a noticeable problem as far as putting into gear, feels and sounds fine at idle, but once I try to accelerate it may or may not grind like its out of gear. Replacing the sprag on my unit, and want to make sure i am putting it on correctly. I have heard it can go on backwards. My question is, does it free spin only counterclockwise and doesn't turn clockwise? So when i bolt it up to the back of the flywheel it should fit nice and snug inside it flat, and the bulge should go against the starter gear? Hi there, I'm new to the group and Can-Am machines. I recently purchased a 2011 Commander 1000 and when I tried it out for a test drive the 4x4 mode and transmission position indicator on the dash all worked. Now that I have it, I can not get it into 4x4 (front wheels are not engaging) and the dash always stays on 4x4 even when selecting 2wd on the button.
