Hey all my 2015 can an 1000 has had a problem for quite some time where it jerks / stutters/ hiccups is best I can describe it at around 50mph I thought it might be the belt and my machine has under 2000 miles so I didn’t think it needed changing yet I did change it has week to see if I could fix this issue and get the machine driving normal over 50mph but same thing happens This happened when I had the stock tires and wheels but upgraded to bigger wheels and more street friendly tires so... 2015 can am stutters/ hiccups at 50mph ..read more

I have a front differential Can Am part number 705401241 on my Commander and plan to remove the Visco and add a torque locker. I’m wondering if anyone here can tell me if that differential model will allow the Visco removal before I remove the front differential to rebuild and add the torque locker. I remember reading somewhere on here that some differentials have a welded Visco or something that could prevent removal but no specific part numbers were indicated. Thanks ..read more

My 18 commander 1000 has me chasing a few noises and rattles. I'm focused on the rear diff or gearbox.. some sort of growl when I get underway. Not a whine though. I can't feel any loose parts or ujoints. The gear box and rear diff oil is fresh. Used Lucas gear oil. Two separate weights per the book. Although one phenomenon I'm curious about..while rear jacked up in neutral..I spin the tires, I hardly notice the sound but...I feel a bit of friction to begin spinning them by hand ONLY from... I was a polaris guy forever it seems. Two sportsman's, a rzr, but my riding style changed and I had an opportunity to buy a 2018 Can Am Commander 1000. But I'm surprised to find out there is a void in support in that year range.. 2021+ models have alot and other machines of course have EVERYTHING but for example, a 2018 Commander has one cheap windshield to choose from. And repair/maintenance Info/videos sure is not up there like other machines. Have any of you noticed that? Thx ..read more

Hey guys, new to can-am family. My dad and I recently picked up 2011 800xt and a 2014 1000xt but we are having some issues with 800. Long story short 800 blew a transmission there was 2 donar trans and with 2 other transmissions it was rebuilt by local shop. At low rpm you get shook up like a soda can until it gets moving to about 5mph then it's smooth and works great or if you give it gas like your on the drag strip it will rattle and no go.
