Okay, here's a weird one....
I was zipping around recently and could smell a little belt smell when I was WOT down a dirt road. Admittedly I was topped out but thats irrelevant at this point.
I pulled the cover off last weekend, and the belt looked ok but since I have a trip planned I ordered a new belt. It came in yesterday, so I watched a few vids and dove into the swap and I had a heck of a time getting the spreader bolt in the secondary. I fight the old one of, clean etc etc, fight...

Good evening, long time lurker first time poster. This community is great.
I recently had sxs serviced with new engine oil, transaxle oil, and front diff oil as well as driveline carrier bearing replaced on 2016 Sport with 1200 miles and 85 hours. I test drove the machine at home and smelled something hot, thought some oil maybe got spilled somewhere and looked over machine. Exhaust manifold glowing as you can see in pics.
Checked oil level is good, coolant level is good and machine water...

So hi there. 3rd time Wildcat owner here. 2013 this time. Here's my dilemma. On the road it wanders like the steering has teeth missing. But I narrowed it down to the steering link from steering wheel to gear box. I can move the wheel 1/8 turn either direction before seeing any action at the end of the cable attached to the gear box. So somehow there's play in the cable link. Anyone ever seen this before ..read more

TEAM CLUTCH
My 2014 X has been had to shift when running and especially when hot. I took of the clutches and put in a shift kit with fresh springs and it helped when cool, but still was dragging when hot (only with the cover on).
AND Cleaned the clutches. DO NOT USE ANY LIQUID TO CLEAN THE PRIMARY CLUTCH. unless you can repack the idler bearing.
Turns out the belt lightly drags on the inside of the primary. When the belt is hot and sticky it makes it damn near impossible to shift when...

Hi, I pulled into a mud hole and tried to work my way out. Then now my Artic cat mud pro 700 running like in neutral, But if I lock the diffrential, juste one front wheel running. Do you know what hapen? What I have to check?
