Hey Everyone, I have a 2019 Pioneer 1000-3 and I had a rock wedge itself between the frame and the oil tank cover (15710-HL4-000) and it gashed open the cover. I cleaned up the gashed area and used one of those metal filler puttys to patch the area. The patch lasted for about 10 months, but it's starting to leak again, so I figure I had better take the cover off and weld it or replace it. So let me start by saying I've been a red level honda power sports tech since 2014. This one has me completely stumped though. Have a 2018 1000 5 seater that came in for 600 hr service and stalling at idle. As part of the service got new air filter and plugs. I have a 2018 pioneer 1000-5 deluxe that will stall when you take off. Now it doesn't do it all the time some days it runs perfectly others not so much. I drive it to work and when I stop it will idle just fine but as soon as I hit the throttle pedal it will stall and once it does it will do it all day.
