Hi, I bought a Gator 835 in March and only used it a couple of times around the property, all at slow speeds. Yesterday I worked the engine quite a bit harder - I was going faster and giving it more throttle - and the engine fan kicked on for the first time. Nothing overheated - gauge showed right in the middle. However, I could smell a burning smell. After being done and parking the machine in the garage, I investigated. Hi, we have an electric gator, and recently have notice a drop in performance. The battery’s replaced 2 years ago, and levels check regularly. But lately we’ve noticed that the threaded bar used for the battery clamp has been getting hot, to the point of melting the plastic clamps, all the thermals are clean and the wires ok. I picked up a 2001 6x4 gator at auction for a “good deal” at $2700, and now I am looking at putting a rebuilt motor in it family mechanic took off cylinder 2 head and found oil and play in the cylinder itself. just wondering what advice people have concerning whether or not this machine would be worth fixing. Hi. I purchased what I 'thought' was a engine to replace the engine in my AMT622. I 'think' the old engine was a FE290D-AS00. The engine I have is a FE250D-BS04. Does anyone know if it uses a vacuum fuel pump? The old engine did so I transferred the vacuum pump to this engine. Problem is, this engine has no fitting on top of the engine for a pulse hose. Have a 2009 850d 4wd XUV and got a new tire for front left. Same brand/model of tire as OEM, I suppose, Carlisle brand 25x10-12 I think it is. I first had a shop put a tube in it but it went flat in the back of my truck by time I got home... that was 50 bux wasted for the tube and install. I won't go back there!
