The Railers JHC have been added to the junior hockey landscape to fill a much needed void. In our past experience with junior hockey it has become obvious that development has taken a back seat to competition. The Railers JHC's program is designed so that players can have extensive access to coaches and ice time during their most important developmental years.

Corbin Melie Commits to Elmira College
Corbin Melie, a defenseman for the Railers Jr. Hockey Club, has committed to Elmira College for the fall of 2024.
A two-year Railer out of Clinton, New York, the ’03 earned honors as an All-Central Team defenseman last season, tallying nine goals and 13 assists. He was the only defenseman in the EHL with two game-winning goals in overtime.

Connor McAleer Commits to SUNY Brockport
Connor McAleer, a forward for the Railers Jr. Hockey Club, has committed to SUNY Brockport for the fall of 2024.
The ’03 native of Holt, MI has been with the Railers since 2021-22 season, where he was their top scorer at the Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) level, finishing the year with an even 42 points in 42 games.

Jake Kloss Commits to Wilkes University
Jake Kloss, a forward for the Railers Jr. Hockey Club, has committed to Wilkes University for the fall of 2024.
The ’04 native of Hershey, PA chose the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) for what will turn out to be his first and only season of junior hockey. To date this season, Kloss has hit the ice for six games for the Railers, and he’s averaging just under a point per game so far with a goal and four assists to his credit.

Charlie Addesa Commits to Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts
Worcester Railers Junior Hockey Club captain and four-year veteran Charlie Addesa has announced his decision on where he will continue his career at the collegiate level. Come the fall of 2023, he will be attending Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, playing for the Trailblazers’ NCAA Division 3 program. They will compete in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference in their relaunch year.

Sean McWhinnie Commits to Anna Maria College
Sean McWhinnie is the latest member of the Worcester Railers Junior Hockey Club to announce his college commitment. The ’03 forward has made the decision to attend Anna Maria College. The Amcats compete in NCAA Division 3 as an independent program.
McWhinnie had little doubt as to where he was headed for college hockey. “I did not talk to many other schools. I had all my eggs in one basket for Anna Maria.”

Matt Lombardi Commits to Worcester State University
Three-year Worcester Railers Junior Hockey Club forward Matt Lombardi has announced his decision to further his academic and hockey career at Worcester State University. Worcester State is an NCAA Division III program that competes within the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC).
Lombardi garnered interest from several schools, but felt Worcester State was the perfect fit.

Jack Lee Commits to Nichols College
Jack Lee is already gearing up for college hockey as the Worcester Railers Junior Hockey Club forward has announced his commitment to play for Nichols College for the Spring 2023 semester.
Lee, who leaves the Railers at second in points with 22, joins the 4-7-0 Bison, an NCAA Division 3 program who play in the Commonwealth Coast Conference. Levy Rink in Harrisville, Rhode Island is where the team calls home. He joins his teammate from last year’s Railers squad, Damon Dulac, now a freshman at Nichols who told Lee it would be a good fit.

Dan Lemanski Commits to Assumption University
The first Worcester Railers Junior Hockey Club commitment of the 2022-2023 season belongs to forward Dan Lemanski. Railers EHLP – Weekly Roundup October 12-19, 2022
It was a good week for the Worcester Railers Jr. Hockey Club’s EHL Premier team as they snapped their modest two-game losing streak with two big wins, including a thrilling, come-from-behind overtime thriller.
First they took down the first place Vermont Lumberjacks, who only had one loss on the season coming in, beating them 7-3 on Saturday.
Next they took on another strong team in the New England Wolves and pulled off an amazing win.
