2024 VIJHL All-Star Day   Victoria, BC – The Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League is proud to announce that our 2024 All Star Day will take place January 28, 2024 in Lake Cowichan hosted by the Lake Cowichan Kraken!   This coming New Year’s Eve, the VI Junior Alumni Association is hosting their First Annual VIJHL Alumni Game at the NIC in Nanaimo! Alumni have selected to join either Team North or Team South, with names being announced every day as we get closer to the game. The event will include Concessions, 50/50, Intermission Games, Raffle and much more! Admission will be simply by Donation (Suggested $5) and we are also accepting Donations for the BC SPCA. VIJHL Applying for Junior A Status for 2023-24 Season   The Junior B Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League (VIJHL) has applied to BC Hockey asking to reclassify as a Junior A league for the 2023-24 season. If approved, the VIJHL (all 11 clubs) would transition to the Junior A level and adopt new operating standards.
