I have a pair of RS T-120 cabinets to repurpose. About 1.6^3Ft. gross to work with. Will have a mid chamber of sorts.
I have a pair of Gradient AXT-10 woofers with these measurements. Fs 31 Hz, Qts .277, Qms .2116 Qes 5.664 Vas 3.44^3Ft Le .849. That is what the WT3 spit out. Ported
Or sealed with a MCM 55-1215, no measurement but here are the factory specs. https://www.farnell.com/datasheets/3686237.pdf
Or woofer someone else would recommend off the cuff.
The cabinets will need to be beefed up. The ATX-10 is one meaty woofer but will not dig too deep.
Thanks in advance ..read more

OK, I am feeling a little froggy of late and started playing/experimenting again on my drums and am checking to see how this drum kit/mix sounds upon your audio systems.
Sounds great here (don't pay attention to the rusty man and his timing on the kit) but let me know how the mix comes across on your listening devices, please.

I need another pair of speakers like another hole in my head, but dang, nice price on what looks like a nice pair of Calipers. Gotta thing for panels. Valparaiso, IN/Chicago are is too far for me to travel right now, and honestly, I do not do good on long road trips or city driving. If there were some way something like this could find its way a little further down south ..read more

This thing looks good for 2L sealed mid duty or vented 9L 2-way. Looks like you could use it first order or second order crossover.
So I guess my question is how would you use it?
Looking for ideas on the next build.

Was trying to think of thread title to make more general purchase... To chime in on driver failures as have encountered some mistakes in purchasing used drivers since learning by iteration valuable.
A - bought pair of Tang Band W4-1720's little below the common 50% cost, plus was in a bundle off diyaudio swapmeet. Had tried them in a small 0.23 2 way few months back with 5" PR and SB26 neo tweet. Sounded good though learned few things about getting better bass alignment and not maximizing the woofers gusto. So, started using them for my Indy 3way isobaric as mid after 1st attempt with RS52AN ..read more
