Charity Electrical Safety First (ESF) has urged the Government to back its bill to introduce third party certification for e-bikes, e-scooters and their batteries, after footage was released of an e-bike fire at Sutton Railway Station. The ESF says the bill would reduce the risk of unsafe batteries entering the market as well as setting standards for conversion kits and charging systems. It also has a dual kickstand, low step-through frame and an adjustable unisex seat. Its swappable battery is also compatible with Voi’s e-scooters, helping to reduce the energy and material consumption of the company’s supply chain. eBikeTips

Fully Charged began life as a popular YouTube channel hosted - at first - by the effervescent Robert Llewellyn (AKA Kryten from the TV comedy Red Dwarf). Last month's inaugural Everything Electric London show was an offshoot of this and I was interested to see how it would promote e-bikes and other two-wheeled electric mobility - especially since it had proudly declared itself, "the world’s biggest electric vehicle and home energy festiva ..read more
