PBE M5 400 won't accept aredn-3.23.12.0-ath79-generic-ubnt_powerbeam-m5-xw-squashfs-sysupgrade. This exact file has been used to successfully upgrade 2 other PBE M5 400 (and I upgraded my hAP AC2 and a PBE M5 AC 400 no problem, with the correct file of course, not the one listed).
It reports as shown in attached screen cap
I have downloaded the support file if needed
(edit: I should add it is currently running 3.23.4.0 quite happily)

From the notes on the nightly build ... which has become 3.23.12.0 ??
Support for wildcard DNS entries has been added. This was done to support installing Sandstorm on a local computer. Sandstorm is an "app support platform" that lets you install and offer out over 70 web-based apps to your local AREDN community. It could be an excellent local support tool. [Note that any potential user of the Sandstorm platform will need to have a currently nightly build on their localnode].

I have meshchat 2.8 running on three Mikrotik hAP ac lite’s firmware 3.23.40. The meshchat advertised service names are all the same. When a user logs onto one of the chat instances I see them in Mesh Chat Users so I think the sync is working. When any user sends a message using the Everyone Channel, no one receives it even though meshchat says the message is sent. Ideas?

Hello, through a conversation with forum members, I was told to look at this new feature that makes it possible to make a link between two aredn mesh zones ( A and B). "Cross-linking" allows one to create a big AREDN mesh by passing AREDN traffic across an existing non-AREDN P2P link.
In my case we have a preexisting P2P link made with non-AREDN radio. This is an extended network that carries the same subnet to a remote office as shown on the attached picture.
Question: how do we configure Mikrotik ac2 (Gateway) in zone 1 to talk to Mikrotik ac2 in zone 2 ov ..read more
