Hey, I´m planning to do this bikepacking trip with a tent. This trip is quite spontaneous because of a time slot that opened unplanned between Work and Uni. So i´m gonna start already in a few days and wanted to make it in about 4 weeks. I plan to do about 100km a day and some few rest days. Do you guys have any expierences on this route or recommendations? I´m also not sure about the route at the coast from Genua to Cannes. It looks very beautiful but also very busy. Is it bicycle friendly?
Thank you :)

Hello so I’ve dwindled my search down to these two bikes.
The sutra Ltd 48cm - $2,100 (on sale and shipped)
Breezer radar x, xs - $1,200 (on sale, local)
I know the bikes are priced very different, this question is mainly is the $900 worth it for hydraulic brakes and higher spec apex compared to the mechanical hydraulic brakes and apex group set on the Breezer. I’m sure there’s other differences as well. But to me they both seem like they’ll accomplish my needs. The Breezer has a longer front and possibly better downhill stability? But I’m new to mtb so not sure where my opinion stands.

I've never been bikepacking but I've seen some bikepackers at the colorado trail waterton canyon section. I thought about doing it but the smallest pack I have is a 30 liter I also have a 75 liter but I think it'll be too big to carry on bike. The bike I'm taking will be a kona cinder hardtail. My sleeping bag (Big Agnes Anvil Horn 0) barely fits in the pack but it'll only be for 1 night. Any thoughts or tips on starting to bikepack?

Trail Condition is Gravelly in Many Areas
Buffalo is a much more interesting city than I expected
Food is generally atrocious
Western New York Feels like the Midwest
Canal towns have seen better days
There is no Empire State Trail Signage in Genesee Valley Park in Rochester
REI along trail in Rochester can be a life saver

Has anyone found a lightweight back rack that fits the Silk Road frame please. Looking for the one that bolts on to the 3 integral bolts on each side of the seat stays?

I am planning to go bikepacking with my hardtail this year. I still do not have a bag or tent. I have no clue what to chose. There are so many options.
I found Bag: Altus Andes 400 Z80 for (400g~100€) Tent: Ferrino Lightent Pro 2 (1650g ~200€)
Would this be a good and light weigt summer combo for the price? Or should i try a tarp setup?
