Four New Keto Ice Cream Options in Canada
I’m a big fan of Chapman’s Ice Cream and I was thrilled when I heard they added four new no sugar added products to their frozen treats offering. I think it’s great when any dessert can be made with less sugar and am grateful that there are companies like Chapman’s paving the way to develop these healthier frozen treat alternatives.
Note: This is a sponsored post however all opinions are my own.
The four new lactose-free, low carb ice cream products are:

Simple everyday tasks to keep your home clean and your spirits high
If there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s that a cluttered home equals a cluttered mind. A sure sign that I’m feeling off or sad, is a mountain of laundry and my cat’s hair dust balls covering my stairs. Sadly, the mess only contributes to the struggles with a mountain to do list of tasks.
Why Not Hire Cleaners?
I could and I have in the past. Cleaning people offer an incredible service for those without the time or perhaps desire to clean. Many people may not have the physical ability to manage cleaning tasks, so a cleaner c ..read more

I was so excited when Citta Activewear reached out to collaborate with me on a summer collection
I get approached from different companies and brands to partner with them occaisionally. Between working from home while helping the kids with remote learning, I’ve felt overwhelmed at the best of times this year and taking on additional endeavours has felt challenging.
I’ve been wearing Citta Activewear for years. They’re a woman-owned, Canadian business who have been so generous to send me clothes and host giveaways on my Instagram in the past.
When Citta connected with me to partner with them on ..read more

A simple, flavourful keto meal that you’ll love!
Keto Greek Chicken is a staple recipe in my house. The flavours are so delicious that it is the perfect recipe for when we have company over.
We often have all the ingredients on hand which makes it even easier. I find recipes like keto greek chicken, that have the most basic ingredients to be the most delicious! The only fresh ingredients you need on hand are the chicken and the lemon – the rest are pantry staples!
I used trulocal chicken that was delivered to my door! If you’d like to try out the grade A meat from Trulocal, please use thi ..read more

Week nine - 90 day keto challenge
Wow, time just seems to be FLYING by. We finished the kids first week of homeschooling this week and it’s going okay.
Carter is in grade one, so all of his work is mostly done over google meet with his teacher. The difficulty is getting him on and off the calls all day and redirecting him back to the call when he gets distracted.
My daughter is in grade 5, and while she can stand on her own getting onto her calls, she tends to get more distracted and will leave assignments unfinished.
The last time we did remote learning, I had to take a day off work just to s ..read more

Week eight - 90 day keto challenge
This update is coming to you a little bit late. I had the kids at home while I was working last week for their Spring break, and while it may surprise you, I’m sometimes not capable of getting done all the things I’d like to.
Now that we’ve entered into our third Ontario lockdown, with the kids remote learning, work from home, gyms closed - oh man things feels heavy and yes, food has found it’s way to being a comfort!

Week seven - 90 day keto challenge
I’m honestly not sure why I’m keeping up with my challenge at this point. I guess it’s because I hate quitting. Though I’m not sure it’s motivating me right now.
The old Joanna would have taken this challenge and done everything right without screwing this up. Today’s Joanna seems to enjoy making up excuses.
Maybe I’m just tired. Tired of covid. Tired of working two jobs. Tired of fighting for my health. Tired of online bullies.
Maybe the self sabotage has more about reducing my level of responsibility in showing others what they can achieve too if they put i ..read more

I look so red in the image to the right because this was post walk/run!
