Hello again,
I just recently put a new Weber 32/36 carb setup on my 1979 MGB and it’s been running great, still need to adjust choke, but that’s besides the point.
I went and got gas for it today and on the way home the engine all of a sudden lost all power and as soon as I put it in neutral to roll, it stalled out.
It took quite a few tries but it eventually started again, but I only got about a half mile down the road before the same thing happened. I eventually called my dad and we dragged it back home with his truck.
I checked fuel, it’s getting fuel, tried adjusting choke again, but that ..read more

Today was first warm enough day to empty out the barn of running MGs. This is my “good mg”. 1953 Arnolt…. Basically a TD with a Bertone body. They sold about 100 of them in USA. It is a very slow car, but gives people more time to look and say… what is that?!?!

I know the Marvel R is technically a fake MG, but I’ll post here anyway. I’m trying to change from winter tires, but I can’t find the tools. Seems like there’s nothing included, only the tire sealant and compressor.

I have a 1970 mgb that has been sitting outside for like 3 or 4 years and was last registered in 2009. It hasnt had the roof on for that time. I also have a spare 1977 mgb full of parts that is a parts car. Currently not running due to not having a ingition switch and have no idea about the rest of the parts.

Over the last couple days my coolant temp gauge has been acting up. It doesn’t get up the the mid point where “normal” operating temperature is and only gets about half way there before dropping a couple of bars and then raising again, but it’s very inconsistent. Here’s a video of me idling on my driveway after a 20 minute drive home from work where the engine should be very nicely up to temperature. Anyone got any idea of a diagnosis? Hoping it’s not the thermostat ? Thanks in advance -Aaron

It's looks like an after market fibre bodied car but I can't identify it. Has Mille Miglia stickers, found it in Van Couver but could be an SC A, transam car. Please help

Hello everyone!
I have the option to pick up a 1998 MGF Brooklands edition for 4.200€. It has 160.000km and seems to be mechanically in order from what I’ve gathered so far. I just wanted everyone’s opinion on if that price seems good/worth it? I’m currently in Germany so I’m not sure there’s a particularly solid repair/parts network, also the car would be a daily driver but only about 12-25km or so a day.
Thanks in advance guys!
