Yesterday I went to drive the car and even put it into gear, but it would not budge. I also got messages on the screen that HV battery was disconnected. After numerous tries for over an hour I could not get it driving. I had to call the MG recovery and when the AA guy came out he also could not get it to drive. Just brought, 24 days ago, a MG ZS EV in white. Owned for 24 days and told the corrosion, example attached, is within an acceptable level and can be expected. There is surface rust to the bonnet, suspension mounts and sub frame but again all classed as superficial. We have issues with 1. Play in the steering wheel and knocking when cornering 2. Hi all I have recently had my first year 15k service done on my MGzs ev Trophy long range. I am not impressed with MG agents as are most people on this forum I think. I made the mistake of going back to Perrys in Aylesbury where I bought the car last year. I recently tried preheating the car using the ismart app and all it did was refreeze the car because it set the AC to Lo setting . After some experimentation I discovered that if you preset the AC to its HI setting in other words beyond the top temperature setting then the car did warm up and the AC did not cool the car. A very non-scientific experiment..... I’ve asked on a few forums about the benefit of pre-heating the car on very cold days to try and avoid the initial cold running m/kWh effect and the general consensus was it wasn't worth it. Well after a particularly poor run when I got 6 miles for around 5kWh and then 10 miles for the second 5kWh (16 miles total) without any pre-heating of the car, I thought I'd do some testing. Hope this is ok to post here, but I wanted to pick your brains. I just took delivery of a very awesome 2022 standard MG ZS. Everything is going great and I love it, well except the range.
