Hi Folks Any ideas? Got a TF 160 on an 02 plate. After about 15 mins of running coolant will start voiding from the header tank as though its boiling. Temperature gauge reads normal until most of the coolant has voided and then it will start to indicate overheating. I have changed the thermostat (what a bugger of job!) but no difference. There's no evidence of head gasket failure; no mayo on the engine oil filler cap, no steam from exhaust and even did a sniffer test which was negative... Needed a car, got a rover 25 1.4 twin cam. SORNed it at Christmas to save money but now it won't start. I did the silly thing, after reading all the British aerospace, BWM etc history I fell in love with it & except one wing mirror replacement that isn't in rover green it looks amazing...now I'm in two minds whether to sell or divorce.... getting nagged to scrap it because "it doesn't even bloody work"....but there's no way I'd scrap it. Can Anyone suggest an additive to the oil to stop main seal leaking. A mechanic has suggested this but I'm afraid there may be side effects when you put this stuff in the oil, could it also block the oil ways within the engine. Has there been experiences of this.?? Thanks ..read more

I have a parasitic drain on my 2017 MG3 and, based on what I've researched, I think it is possible that this may be caused by the Body Control Module. Ideally, I would like to unplug the BCM and then run a drain test to see whether the drain is still present with it unplugged, but there are a couple of things I'd like to clarify: First, where is the BCM located?
