Shortly after this video, I threw a track at the sprocket due to sharp turns in gravel. A very common weakness with tracked vehicles. 8 years ago an M1A2 had the same problem at the tankfest show. Oddly, it was neat having a very realistic scale failure.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue - today my King Tiger went silent, all other functions other than the sound work on the tank. I've seen on some forums that the Heng Long speaker can fail if the volume is too high for too long which is even more remarkable seeing that I've had the tank less than a couple of months and it's not been used that much. It's running the 7.0 board and I've checked the connections between the speaker and the board and all seems fine. I've ordered a replacement speaker but I was wondering if any of you guys have had a similar problem??

hello tankers! I am a new rc tanker with one tank. And the website i am buying it from (motionrc) is running out of products, and I am looking on other websites, for example. Toucanhobby has a wide variety on heng long tanks, and i found a really nice leopard 2a6 for 161$, and I’m wondering and asking you experienced tankers, is this a valid website?

I plan on purchasing a Taigen full metal T-34. I have heard a lot of good things about the TK boards, and I’ve heard a few bad things about how jolting the movements of the Taigen V3 board are. So I’ve decided I’d like to buy a TK board. How compatible is the board with the V3? Do I need anything else except the board to complete installation? Does it take any actual programming?
Thanks everyone, this will be my first tank.

Does anyone else own some of their older models? I'm fairly new to this and it has some quirks and restrictions that the newer ones dont. Still tons of fun though

I'm looking to paint the metal on another one of my tanks, my last 2 tanks, the paint didn't stick very well even if I try an prep it well, I cleaned the surface with a rubbing alcohol, then scratch the surface with 220 and 180 grit sandpaper, then paint with 3-4 coats of Vallejo primer of the color of choice, and last 2-3 coats of Vallejo matte varnish. What do you guys do, and what paints should I try instead?
