I guess I must be building tanks fairly well as this was my 3rd commission from Martin.  This time around, instead of a big heavy full metal Taigen tank, Martin commissioned me to rebuild his all plastic PZ III. I did not touch the gearboxes themselves, just the wiring.  Cleaned up the former stiffeners and trimmed the internal cutting to nice clean vesions. Okay so I am on a roll with 1/6......... Decide to start on my relatively simple kit bashing, using a 1/6 ROC Hobby RC Jeep and 1/6 Dragon SAS Jeep static kit to make a RC SAS Jeep. I found this clip interesting for a couple of reasons. The use of the pistol port on the Panther because they discontinued it after the first production run. And second watch how the Panther bounces back and forth up and down when the tank accelerates. And how quick it can accelerate. Well I have access to an empty garage for couple of weeks so took on Dean's 1/16 monster KT to try to get it going. Day 1 went rather well, configured the Saber 2x60amp ESC and hooked it up to the bottom. Probably over kill with the 60 amp and 6S but want to make sure the voltage matches up to the old 24v PB battery pack. Throttle down to 50% in this video. While trying to figure out how we could block what I thought was the reason for the water running along the telephone pole side and water bar it I discovered the cut through where I used to bring the wheelbarrow through from the sand pit is not where the bulk of the water is flowing through.
