Still a lot of work to do but it lives! So running with the Clark TK80X which is specifically made to run with external ESC's for that I am using Sabretooth ESC's . The Sabertooth is running a big 6S lipo 22.5V and the Clark board is run off a 7.4v 2200 MAH. the Clark has onboard dual 15W amp for the speakers. will probably move down to a 3S Lipo that we did test with as the 6S just has so much power and runs so fast! So I have managed to break both of the brackets that the turnbuckles attach to on the KV-1 hull. Attachment 2274137 My snug tow cables are a bit too snug, I guess. I want to replace them with metal. But I'm not sure how to go about it. These plastic dog leg brackets evidently have a peg that they are glued into the applique armor with. The applique armor is likewise pegged and glued to the upper hull. It's easy enough to fashion a new dogleg out of some metal, but I don't think glue is going to hold it to the applique very well - some kind of peg is needed. I've always been told to use the smoker fluid sparingly in the smokers. I wonder if I charred my TARR smoker from not enough fluid. I notice with the new Heng Long smokers with the squirrel cage fan that they consume about an entire eye dropper full of smoker fluid in about 2 tank 15-minute tank runs. So I want to upgrade my Heng Long 27 Mhz Jagdpanzer to the 7.0 electronics. I've already bought the receiver and transmitter. First order of business is I need some of the male and female banana connectors that Heng Long now uses to hook into the power and to the motors. Does anyone know what these are called so I can order some up? Howdy. I am going to print a small tank that will use modified servos for the drive. The Spektrum radio I plan to use is a 10 year old DX-8. I know I can use both sticks to control the servos, but since the left stick doesn't have spring centering I would like to use the right stick for the drive and the left to control the camera angle.
