I thought we already had this thread. In fact I thought I made it myself. but I can't find it. Maybe it is just inside some other thread....
The reason I was looking for it was because I saw this and I liked it on a lot of different levels.
I guess Jessica Simpson is not a real celebrity, or a real vegan. Being married to Jerry Seinfeld makes her almost a celebrity. "Vegan At Times" makes her almost a vegan.
I got a kick out of the cat stuff in the beginning of the clip.
I like the...

Just knead the nettles? And they should be knead immediately before eating / washing (or after defusing?) to not to lose nutrients ..read more

2024 SPUD HAUL
Here's the spud haul, although there are still some leftovers growing on the compost pile that have yet to be harvested. I culled last year's remaining purple and red Chieftain varieties.

The white ones are Yukon Gold, along with...

How quickly do the nutrients in wild herbs / plants deplete after picking?
So when you harvest them, e.g. Dandelions, groundweed, nettles and just put them in some container at home or on a plate they will get dry after one, two days, a week or so. But does that mean they lose (many) nutrients or aroma only ..read more

Hello everyone, I'm a newbie sort-of-vegan teenager. My parents have expressed concern over the healthiness and cost effectiveness of a vegan diet, so I am searching for the perfect vegan cook book which assures them that I am meeting nutritional requirements while staying within our grocery budget.
To summarise, I am looking for a cookbook with:
- plant based whole foods
- plenty of nutritional information
- budget friendly meals
- delicious, spice-filled food (asian cuisine preferred)
-...

Does it make sense to soak millet / golden millet? Maybe so that phytic acid / toxins / unwanted substances are broken down? So heating it would not be enough?
If yes, how long should it be soaked? Are nutrients also being dumped along with the water that is dumped?
Should you definitely wash millet ..read more

I work in construction and have a second job. I don’t get a lot of cooking time so I want to start meal prepping my lunches and suppers for the week.
Any ideas on what I can make that I can eat for suppers and lunches without spending money on ingredients I will use for one meal and it will go bad before I use it again ..read more
