So basically yesterday i was driving my blaster after getting the throttle and idle fixed, i have a twist throttle we removed the bearing in the casing of the throttle area cuz every time i started it the idle goes crazy. It was only around 30 seconds in just hit 3rd gear and was coming to a stop the idle just goes crazy when i stopped and wouldnt turn off. So recently I was riding my blaster around and all of a sudden it backfired a few times and will not start anymore. Quad has 160 psi for compression Vito’s +3 stroker crank and 240 big bore kit. Hello, I am trying to help a friend rebuild his yamaha blaster he purchased. To make a long story longer he had a clutch issue and got drunk and tore the whole dang motor apart….down to the crank and actually tried to press the crankshaft out. Hello , I have an 04 blaster that I’m having issues with jetting. currently it has the stock main, which is a 230 and it has a big bore fmf, fatty pipe and silencer and a cold air intake. My elavation is right around 300-400 ft above sea level. It does start right now but only with me holding the throttle and it doesn’t want to idle without the throttle and it bogs when I rev it. Hello all, in the process of doing a top end rebuild. Just got the cylinder on and where the clutch cable connects to one of the studs, there's not enough slack to put it back on. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Stripped it down months ago but I don't remember it being that hard to get off. I attached a couple of pics to show the closest I can get it.
