Subject: 2008 DS450 x At the moment it appears that I'm having a grounding issue at the ecm but I'm just not convinced 100% to replace it. I'm hoping someone has insight as to what the problem can be. The quad won't start (It won't turn over), I just get a click at the starter solenoid so the starter will not crank. I am new to the forum and new to this bike...it is my wife's bike. The battery died so I charged it up and reinstalled it. When I turn the key on, the bike starts to buzz but it does not sound like the fuel pump. It seems louder and continues to buzz. The fuel pump will usually turn off when enough pressure is built in the fuel system right? This buzz does not stop. Oh and it goes on and off with the kill switch. Hello everyone I hope to find some help here. Recently bought a non-running 2008 DS 450. Checked it out and found that there is no ground available at the main relay, I believe its the (OR/BU wire coming from the ECM). If I jump the main relay connection I then have power at the Fuses on the shifter side but still nothing. I can make the engine turn by jumping the solenoid but no neutral lights, no fuel pump no power over all. Already checked all the fuses and relays they are good. (Picture... PLEASE HELP!!! I recently bought a used 2014 ds450 x xc. Pretty solid machine. I've notice a few odd things. Looks like it mat have had a tuner wire in at one point . There are to plug back by air box that don't go to anything and the harness looks like it's been rewrapped. Right now machine had stock exhaust and all just baffle removed. Hello, I just bought a quad can am 450 ds xmx from 2011. The quad had a complete engine and chassis repair a year ago before the purchase of the former owner. (invoice from Pilote Préparation).
